No, you cannot play Psi Ops: the Mindgate Conspiracy on the Xbox 360 since this game is not backward compatible yet. You can check the complete list of backward compatible games or original Xbox games that are playable on Xbox 360 by visiting this link:

My 3rd xbox has just broke, is it true xbox give you a free game/ or free 3 month gold?

I don't think so, you probably can get 1 month of gold membership if you whine enough and complain. But why not try and get a free game or month of live even if it didn't break? I personally have gotten games for free as well as a 1 month subscription using certain sites. I recommend using the site: www.riverofcash.tk. It's exactly as it is called, it's a river of cash. I downloaded the update on xbox live to play regular xbox games, but when I put in my NHL 2K7 game, it still says that the game is not supported on the xbox 360. How can I play this game??
