I want to get my bf a games console for his birthday adn I was looking at the Xbow 360 but there seen to be 3 consoles. The Xbox 360 arcade is by far the cheapest? Is this a good console? Why is it cheaper then the standard console? He's not a serious gamer. I just though it'd be a fun present as he doesn't actually need anything. Also can any one recommend any good games. He is 26.

The arcade is the same as the normal xbox but dosnt have a harddrive and its better to have a harddrive so you can save all your games on it.

I want to change my xbox live gamertag to fit the clan i'm in. However, i do not have an xbox 360, which is what seems to be the only console to change it on. How would i go about changing it on my normal xbox console?

xbox 360 does use wireless controllers. However, if you buy the 360 CORE (the cheapest 360), it comes with a WIRED controller. You would have to go out and buy the wireless controller seperately.

Your best bet is to buy the 360 Premium. You will get a hard drive (Core does not have a hard drive) and you will get a wireless controller.

Ever since the XBox 360 came out, the places that I have checked don't seem to sell new regular XBox consoles anymore. I would feel a lot better having a brand new one, because one that was previously used could have been dropped or damaged in some other way.

Gamestop, Ebgames, Costco, Toys R Us, Walmart, Bestbuy, Amazon, Ebay, etc etc. Personally, I bought mine online at Costco and saved myself a buttload of money. Amazon's is overpriced, and Bestbuy is still out of stock. You could always try Newegg. They're reliable and cheap..
